A medical perspective

An attorney who understands the injuries behind the claim.

Dr. Zaheer Shah has treated car accident victims as a physician. That experience informs his understanding of how an injury can affect a person long after the collision.

Your case deserves individual attention. We learn about the treatment you have received, the medical needs ahead, and the ways the accident has changed your life. Our goal is to make those consequences clear to the insurance company or, when necessary, a jury.

How we help

Support at every stage of your case.

  1. Investigate the collision

We examine the circumstances of the crash, interview witnesses, and involve accident reconstruction experts when needed.

  2. Understand your medical needs

We help you navigate medical treatment and document how your injuries affect work, family responsibilities, and daily activities.

  3. Build the claim

Medical records, witness accounts, and the experiences of people close to you help tell the full story of your injury.

  4. Negotiate or go to trial

We handle settlement negotiations on your behalf and are prepared to take your case to trial when the circumstances justify it.

Injuries after a crash

Every injury deserves a careful look.

Car accident injuries can involve far more than the damage visible at the scene. The nature of your injuries and your treating providers’ recommendations help establish what recovery may involve.

Head, neck & back

  • Concussions and other traumatic brain injuries
  • Neck and back injuries
  • Spinal cord injuries

Other physical injuries

  • Broken bones and soft tissue injuries
  • Cuts, burns, and eye injuries
  • Severe limb injuries and amputations

Fault & insurance

Understanding responsibility and coverage.

Shared fault

Being partly at fault does not necessarily prevent recovery. Under Arizona’s comparative negligence law, compensation can generally be reduced in proportion to your share of fault. Special exceptions apply.

Insurance limits

Arizona’s minimum motor vehicle liability limits are $25,000 for bodily injury to one person, $50,000 for bodily injury per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. A policy limit is not a measure of your losses.

We review the available evidence and insurance coverage rather than treating the first account of the accident as the final word.

Arizona law: A.R.S. § 12-2505; § 28-4009.

Potential compensation

The impact reaches beyond the repair bill.

A claim may address both financial losses and the personal consequences of your injuries. The compensation available depends on the evidence, responsibility for the crash, and your individual circumstances.

Financial losses

  • Medical treatment and rehabilitation expenses
  • Lost income and reduced ability to earn
  • Property damage and other documented expenses

Personal losses

  • Physical pain and suffering
  • The emotional impact of your injuries
  • Changes to the activities you enjoy

We work to explain those losses clearly and support the claim with records and other evidence. No settlement amount or trial outcome can be guaranteed.

Filing deadlines

Give your claim the time it needs.

Arizona personal injury claims generally have a two-year limitation period after the claim accrues. Exceptions and shorter deadlines may apply, including for claims involving public entities. Ask an attorney to review the deadlines for your circumstances promptly.

Arizona law: A.R.S. § 12-542; § 12-821.01; § 12-821.
